Going to URBANA

Urbana Shuttle

Go to www.urbana.org/shuttleticket to purchase your shuttle ticket. The shuttle will take you straight to the conference.


GreyHound

From O'Hare (ORD):

At the airport, follow signs to the "CTA" (the Chicago Transit Authority's website is www.transitchicago.com). The CTA station is connected to the airport. When you get to the station, put $1.50 on a CTA ticket.

Get on any train, which is called an "L" in Chicago. You will be on the Blue Line, because that's the only line that goes to O'Hare and it's also the end of the line, so you don't have to worry about getting on the right L.

Exit Clinton. (see below After Clinton)

From Midway (MDW):

At the airport, follow signs to the "CTA" (the Chicago Transit Authority's website is www.transitchicago.org). The CTA station is connected to the airport. When you get to the station, put $1.50 on a CTA ticket.

Get on any train, which is called an "L" in Chicago. You will be on the Orange Line, because that's the only line that goes to Midway and it's also the end of the line, so you don't have to worry about getting on the right L.

Transfer from Orange Line to the Red Line at Roosevelt. Get on the Red Line to Howard (North)

Transfer (again) from the Red Line to the Blue Line at Jackson. Get on the Blue Line to Forest Park (West--not O'Hare train).

Exit Clinton.

***After Clinton***

Get off at Clinton and

Walk a short distance E on RAMP.
Turn right on S CLINTON ST.
Walk a short distance S on S CLINTON ST.
Turn right on W CONGRESS PKWY.
Walk a short distance W on W CONGRESS PKWY.
Turn left on S JEFFERSON ST.
Walk a short distance S on S JEFFERSON ST.
Total walking is 0.18 miles.

The Greyhound Station is at
630 W HARRISON ST (and Jefferson)
CHICAGO, IL

You can buy your ticket to Champaign at www.greyhound.com

When you arrive in Champaign, from the Illinois Terminal, take the 9A Brown Bus, part of the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District (www.cumtd.com).

Get off at Fourth and Pennsylvania.

Walk East on Pennsylvania Ave., yes, with your luggage, to the Stock Pavilion.

Drop your luggage off and follow the masses to the Registration.

Urbana Shuttle

Take the before NOON shuttle to Midway or O'Hare.

Shuttle to O'Hare

Get off at O'Hare and follow signs to the CTA Station. Get on the Blue Line to Forest Park. (See below for "After Blue Line")

Shuttle to Midway

Get off at Midway and follow signs to the CTA Station. Get on the Orange Line to Loop.

Transfer at Roosevelt to Red Line to Howard.

From the Greyhound bus station,

Turn right on W CONGRESS PKWY.
Walk a short distance E on W CONGRESS PKWY.
Turn left on S CLINTON ST.
Walk a short distance N on S CLINTON ST.
Turn left on RAMP.
Walk a short distance W on RAMP.
Total walking is 0.18 miles.

Blue line to Forest Park
Exit Pulaski
Walk up the ramp to Pulaski
Take the 53 bus south. (don't cross the street. Just wait for the bus right outside of the L station)
Get off on Ogden
Walk East on Ogden.
The church will be on the right at 3827 West Ogden Avenue. There's a picture of it here: www.lawndalechurch.org

Meet at the church on January 1st at 2pm.
